SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A bill in Congress to encourage states to participate in the Federal online dashboard for certain covered projects near waterways is getting some attention over the possibility that it could include CO2 pipelines.
Despite maintaining landowner rights in recent CO2 pipeline applications, rancher and business owner Amanda Radke is among landowners who continue to monitor any potential bills that could affect their land.
“For four years, South Dakota citizens have fought tirelessly against carbon sequestration pipelines that attempted to seize land through eminent domain,” Radke said.
There’s a bill in Congress she is asking about, sponsored by US Representative Dusty Johnson.
